Honestly, not quite. Sexual attraction and politics is a big deal everywhere. How often have you went out of your way to do something for a girl because you wanted to have sex with her? That is in fact, why sex matters in the first place.
Disguising your sex is a bad thing because it's disingenuous. It's like putting Sprite in a can labeled Coke. People may get angry when they realize it's not a coke, and they have a right to be. You want to know something interesting about Congress from the years 1993 to 2009?
Most of those years Congress was led by Republicans. Therefore, things getting out of committee would generally be considered their fault, since they'd have the majority of votes. (Although admittedly, it's possible for the minority - as the Republicans are now doing - to stop all committee action or stop any floor vote from happening.)
And something about the stimulus bill? Only three Republican Senators ultimately voted for it. And one of those isn't a Republican anymore.
So saying Democrats aren't willing to vote for things that don't benefit their core groups is darn right stupid.

Also, the provision to add the veteran's benefits was by a Republican and a Democrat. So that particular Republican and Democrat has our thumbs up .
Also, you're a moron. I'm saying the Democrats vote for their core groups - but ONLY for them and not the other minorities even though they're supposedly the liberal party. Again, you did not read.
